Ah yeh, I know what you mean, the addition of lights to make it look a bit.......busy.
Bionicon don't actually classify their bikes. They say the category AM is too restrictive for what the bike can do.
You have the blue button on the bars there, push that and the forks change from 150mm-70mm travel (or anywhere inbetween). But there is also a link from the forks to the shock (routed internally) that extends or retracts the shock (whilst keeping travel at a constant 140mm).
What this does is keep the BB at the same height all the time, it just moves forwards in DH mode and backwards in uphill mode. Meaning the rider remains closer to the vertical.
Sounds very complicated, but in reality it's dead simple and can be done "on-the-fly".
Have a look on Youtube and search for bionicon, they have made some vids of the system in action that show it better than I can.
